The Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center is "Homecoming Central" for alumni and the entire Baylor Family. You’ll find interactions with campus traditions and programs, performances from student groups, fun photo ops, activities for kids, Saturday morning food trucks and more.

Sensory Room

The Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities and Baylor Marketing and Communications is hosting a sensory room at the Mark and Paula Hurd Center during Homecoming Weekend. The room will provide a safe and less stimulating environment for individuals with disabilities. The room will be equipped with items and activities that may promote relaxation, reduce stress/anxiety and help individuals regulate their sensory input. 

  • Friday: 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: Open
 

Homecoming at the Hurd’s Fall Festival

Friday, October 31
6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Families don’t have to choose between Homecoming and trick or treating on Oct. 31. Start at Homecoming at the Hurd and then make your way down 3rd Street for a fun, free, kid-friendly festival filled with candy, prizes and games like candy corn ring toss, pumpkin bowling, plinko, bear walk, pumpkin putt putt, basketball toss, football toss and much more. Baylor-themed and other fun children’s costumes are welcome. Food trucks, face painting and other activities will add to the fun that takes you from the Hurd Center to Fountain Mall in time for Pep Rally and Bonfire.
